Community Health Workers

Residents are equal partners through every stage of the project and are hired to sit on working groups and bring resident voices to the process of determining the priorities and vision of the NHEZ.

The Local Action Team is a key part of the Newport Health Equity Zone Team. They lead and organize each of the working groups, and make sure that many community residents have a voice in the project.
